Get StartedClassically Trained, Personally Invested
Eltavious Johnson is a classically trained vocalist, communicator, and emerging educator whose approach to teaching is grounded in the relationship between healthy technique, musical preparation, storytelling, and human connection.
A graduate of Rollins College with training in Music and Communication Studies, Eltavious has studied classical voice, vocal pedagogy, performance, musical interpretation, ensemble singing, and stage communication. His experience as a performer and communicator shapes a teaching style that is both technically focused and deeply personal.
The goal is not to make every singer sound the same. The goal is to help each student understand, strengthen, and trust the voice they already possess.
Every student enters the studio with a different instrument, history, and reason for singing, so lessons are tailored to the student rather than built around a rigid method meant to fit everyone the same way. The result is an environment that is encouraging but honest, and supportive but disciplined.
Eltavious was born and raised in the Bahamas and brings that warmth and rhythm into every lesson. He earned dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Music and Communication Studies, with a minor in Political Science, from Rollins College, where storytelling and public performance have shaped his path ever since.
Technique should support expression, not replace it.
Strong singing requires more than volume, range, or impressive notes. It requires coordination, awareness, musical understanding, and the confidence to communicate honestly. Lessons at Eltavious Johnson Vocal Studio combine structured technical work with practical application so students can become more independent, expressive, and confident singers.
